10 Tips that you can do for your business and yourself during lockdown…
Update your website Go through your website and check that your copy still relates to your customers. Do you have a call to offer? Have you updated how to contact you, especially if they cannot visit your premises?
Miss networking? you can still network online. Join a group with like minded people on facebook - read the rules and help others solve problems that your business is good at. You never know you might make some friends and possibly new clients.
Up skill If you have always wanted to do a short course or learn something new, now is the time. There are so many online webinars to do. Even if you cannot do them when the time is allocated, you can just opt in and watch when convenient to you.
Take a look at your brand from your customers point of view (Logo, social media graphics, email signatures, email newsletters etc) does it all connect? does it look fresh? is it tired?
Update your social media profile pages. Is your business page connected to your personal profile? is your website on there? look at where your customers are. If they are on Linked In… get on there.
Start up your blog - did you know that your blog is what links new potential customers to your website and business. It’s not about people reading chunks of text late at night. It’s a really great strategic way of getting google to pick up on your website.
Have a think about your business long term. Can you have a subscription based business? what do your customers want? can you change your business from one on one appointments to teaching many people via a course website?
Try and get out of your comfort zone and show yourself more on your socials. People want to work with people.
Clean your space. Get rid of the clutter, freshen up your space. I like to burn some sage and cleanse my space to allow for new exciting things to come in.
Lastly… if you are really stressed, chat to another business owner, friend or loved one. Try and make a negative into a positive such as - right now I would be taking my daughter to her gymnastics class - but I am able to spend this time working on this. As cliche as it is, we are all in this together. Let’s support each other as much as we can.
