Heather Duncan, Owner and Designer - Magick Earth Crystals

Problem to Solve.
Heather came to us for help with taking her hobby business that she started from scratch, and make it more marketable to a wider audience. She wanted to be taken more seriously in the world of holistic practices, thus taking her from a small-time crystal and jewellery seller to being accepted into more markets with larger crowds and having an income generated from her online shop.

Brand Strategy.
We started by looking at her ideal customers, who are they, and how they have changed since she started.

Logo/Branding.
The only design guidelines we had from Heather was to keep some black in the branding and she was adamant about having “Kindness Always” in there. We spent some time researching her competitors and looking at ideas that would appeal to her ideal customers. We then decided that a hand holding a crystal or a few crystals would be the way to go, as people tend to pick up crystals and see how they feel to see if they connect with them. We wanted it to look magical to tie in with the name but we didn’t want it to look mythical or witchy. We aimed for a minimalist take on the crystal industry to make it stand out amongst all her competitors.

Marketing Collateral for a market stall holder and online shop.
We provided Heather with the necessities to start with - Business Cards, Stickers, and Signage. The business cards and stickers double up for her orders via her website too.

Digital Marketing.
To get Heather going, we designed her social media graphics - top banner and provided her with the logo files for her Instagram page. Next on the list is her website where she will have some absolutely stunning crystals and jewellery she has designed and made herself.
